World of Warcraft Dwarf race in PVP...
Dwarves are a race that has also a lot of useful things to use in PVP (besides their courage and humour, and besides they are drunk all the time Tongue out). So lets get to the racial traits:

1. Stoneform

While active, grants immunity to Bleed, Poison and Disease effects and increases the Armor by 10%. It lasts 8 seconds and it has a 3 min cooldown. Clearely, this is a PVP oriented feature targeted. It is very useful against bleeding effects (that is against warrios and rogues) and against Poison effects (like the ones from Hunters and Rogues). The armor increase is also useful, however we can't find any use for the Disease resistance, which is a PVE advantage. Because PVP encounters are quite short, 8 sec. can mean alot in an encounter with a rogue or a warrior because it becomes immune to both damage from bleed and poison and also from Mind Numbering and Crypling poisons, which are a pain. Also renders Deadly poison and Envenom (rogue abilities) useless.

2. Gun Specialization

This is a nice advantage for hunters, as they have 1% more crit chance with guns, and while good bows were more often seen than guns at lvl 60, The Burning Crusade brought us a nice selection of guns that can be used. In PVP, crit chance is the most important thing to have after the "to hit" factor, so 1% is more than welcome.

3. Frost resistance

Dwarves have 10% frost resistance. While this features is still useful, it is not that useful as the previous ones, because it is only good against frost mages, and 10% is not that much.

4. Treasure finding

Ofcourse, completely useless in PVP.

So with a nice set of racial traits, even not so powerful as the new TBC races, a dwarf however is fun to play, in PVP or not and it also gives access to a large range of classes to choose from.
